Gospel Work - Evangelism
Members of Witton Chapel have maintained a genuine concern
for unbelievers and a desire to share the Gospel with men, women, and children.
Sometimes such evangelistic activities were
helped by an evangelist or even a group of evangelists like the one in this
photograph.
As can be seen from these comments by Mr.
Freer, all members of the Chapel were encouraged to play an active part
in the life and work of the church and use whatever gifts the Lord had given them.
During the 1930's, open air preaching was carried
out during the summer months. Mr. Turner, from Bromsgrove, helped in this
work for which a portable "organ" was purchased.
